Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome


  • Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome is a condition caused by compression of the posterior tibial nerve as it travels through the tarsal tunnel located on the medial (inside) ankle. Compression of the nerve can cause pain, tingling and numbness of the foot.

  • A release of the tarsal tunnel of the tarsal tunnel and posterior tibial nerve can be performed to relieve symptoms
