Compressive neuropathy of the interdigital nerve that often leads to plantar forefoot pain and numbness
Most commonly located between 2nd & 3rd toes and between 3rd & 4th toes
Excision of the Morton’s neuroma aims to decrease pain and discomfort caused by compression of the neuroma between the toes
